SPOTLIGHT: Hartzine’s Deep Integration of Customized Players

August 1st, 2011 | Spotlight

One of official.fm’s top users is French music blog Hartzine. Not only do we love the great music they’re able to bring to official.fm, but their eye for branding and design is excellent.

So we’re happy to shine a spotlight on their exemplary use of our customizable embedded players.

Hartzine’s use of our players is to the point. They use our small player to post single tracks blended in with their site’s main colours like so:

We actually came across one of the branded embedded players of another official.fm member, which shows exactly how the player can be a great tool to share your music, your way, across the web.

We feel it’s very important for people to present their content through their own branding. Hartzine gets that and uses our features exactly as intended.

Hartzine’s mixtape section embeds playlists of their favorite tracks. You can see another example below. This player’s different from the single track players shown above, since it allows you to let people play playlists with as many tracks as you want.

In the side menu, they have their monthly selection of fresh tracks embedded through our artwork players. I suspect some of our readers will especially enjoy their summer theme:

We suggest you head over to Hartzine’s site and see how well-integrated our players are, so you can apply it on your own site. Be sure to also check out our interview with Hartzine and their profile on official.fm.
